Here at COAP we have been talking about how Xmas can be a really difficult time for lots of young people whose parents or family members have an addiction to drugs, alcohol or behaviour such as gambling, games or the internet.
Below are messages from some of us at COAP - we have all lived with and still live with someone else's addiction - we are sharing our messages in the hope that we can reach out to young people to let them know there is support out there and that they are not alone.
Do you find it difficult to talk to a counsellor on the phone or to speak to someone face to face?
Yes? Why not try out speaking to a COAP online counsellor?
It works by you contacting us and then you and the COAP counsellor send each other private messages.
