Stay informed on our latest news!
Hello Everyone,
This is COAP's first of many newsletters to come. COAP now has 20 people who have signed up and 6 people using the forums and we have had up to 9,000 hits since COAP went live last year. So it is a very exciting time for me (Emma) as the founder of COAP to watch the online community slowly start to grow. It is really great to see some of you using the forum and supporting each other through the forum. When I set up COAP I wanted to let others know that they are not alone, and that there are thousands of others who are also affected by someone else's addiction.
If anyone has any ideas of stuff that you think would be good to add to the COAP website then pass them on to me, or if you have any comments on the stuff that is already on the website contact me through the contact section.
COAP now has a new section called Your Stories and it has three different people's stories of how addiction has affected their lives. Each story helps others out there to feel less isolated and not feel so alone in their experiences. And also let's others know that you don't have to have an addiction to suffer from it. Please feel free to contribute to this section and if you are unsure how to do this, contact me at emma@coap.co.uk.
There are also other sections on the website in need of some TLC, in the create content section you can do all sorts of things such as upload poems, music and pictures, and if there is a quote that cheers you up or makes you laugh then add it on to COAP for others to see.
Wishing you all a good start to the new year,
Emma Spiegler
Founder of COAP
