Emma Spiegler Founder of COAP received an Anne Frank Award and since then they have continued to support the COAP website. The Anne Frank Awards is a highly regarded education and recognition programme that seeks to recognise young people and educators who have shown great personal strength, moral courage, and determination to stand up for what is right. We seek to acknowledge and celebrate people who not only believe in Anne Frank's inspirational words "it only takes a moment to start improving the world", but who also put them into action. We believe that those who speak out , go out of their way for others, and stick out their necks for the common good should be identified and held up as an example to all.

LawWorks is a charity which aims to provide free legal help to individuals and community groups who cannot afford to pay for it and who are unable to access legal aid.

The Guardian UnLtd was the first organisation to support COAP playing a really important role in endorsing the website and funding COAP - UnLtd supports social entrepreneurs - people with vision, drive, commitment and passion who want to change the world for the better. We do this by providing a complete package of funding and support to help individuals make their ideas a reality.

YTFN held a fundraising event for COAP. YTFN is a new approach to giving to charity! Instead of asking you to donate to a random charity and not telling you where your money's going, we invite charities to pitch specific projects which they require funding for. Then you, and everyone at the event, can donate towards the project and help the charity reach its fundraising goal. It will be a truly rewarding event and will also include a stand of Fairtrade & ethical products, performers and DJs.

Emma recieved two awards from the local and regional heats. Young People of the Year or ´YOPEY´ corrects the unfairly negative image of young people today. Our mission is to reveal young unsung heroes, recognise them publicly, and to reward the very best. Our award-winners can then become positive role models (PRMs) and inspire younger generations to make better choices as they grow up.
