The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre works across the UK and maximises international links to tackle child sex abuse wherever and whenever it happens. Part of our strategy for achieving this is by providing internet safety advice for parents and carers and delivering a virtual police station for reporting abuse on the internet.

Turning Point is the UK’s leading social care organisation. We provide services for people with complex needs, including those affected by drug and alcohol misuse, mental health problems and those with a learning disability.

We cannot underestimate the challenge of prejudice and cynicism that exists in the wider world towards those who become dependent on drugs and alcohol, often at very young ages.

Our first young people’s service opened in 1997 and, at that time, there were few places specifically for children and young people struggling with the problems of substance misuse.

1.2 million children and young people in the UK live with a parent or carer who uses drugs or alcohol- that’s enough to fill a whole big city !
